Working with payers, providers, and pharmaceutical companies throughout the nation, Tamazine has been able to decrease inefficiencies within operations to provide low-cost and high-quality care.
Tamazine has over 10 years of experience in revenue cycle, project management, mergers and acquisitions, supply chain operations, product standardization, and process improvement. She is Lean Six Sigma certified, as well as Scrum Master certified. Tamazine received her Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Healthcare Administration from the University of Utah.

All Accutane patients must be enrolled into the FDA’s iPledge program, which seeks to track the distribution of this medication as well as prevent pregnancy while on treatment. The iPledge program has monthly requirements including pregnancy testing and contraceptive-use for female patients that can get pregnant. Additional requirements during treatment include blood work lab orders and monthly check-ins with a provider.

Absorica treats acne at its source. Acne is caused, in large part, by an overproduction of oil in your skin. Often, this overproduction is an abnormal response to otherwise completely normal and healthy stimuli (e.g. hormone levels). The oil clogs your pores, promoting a build-up of debris and bacteria that trigger an immune response.
Absorica shrinks your oil glands and reduces oil production. The combined effect prevents bacteria and debris from building up in your pores, which reduces acne.

Honeydew offers all effective topical and oral medications for acne. These include cleansers, moisturizers, prescription topical creams, oral antibiotics, and other oral medications like spironolactone and isotretinoin (Accutane). Your clinician will work with you to create and refine a holistic treatment plan that’s right for you.
We will run the prescriptions through your insurance and help you find the lowest costs out there. The membership fee and any products are also eligible for HSA or FSA reimbursement.

Acne is a chronic condition that can come and go with certain hormonal, genetic, stress, and dietary signals, so there is no cure. We can prescribe effective treatment to get your skin clear, and then you can count on us for flare up and refill management. The closest treatment to a cure is Accutane (isotretinoin), which leads to long term remission in 70-80% of patients.
We now have over 40 years of research on this medication, based on millions of patients who have taken it. The latest studies have debunked a number of side effects that were previously attributed to Absorica (isotretinoin). You are likely to experience some side effects (e.g. dry lips), but serious side effects are extremely rare.

At Honeydew, you have access to your care team 7 days a week with unlimited chat in case any side effects come up (vs. once every 30 days at an in-person doctor’s office). Additionally, we work collaboratively with your other doctors, like your primary care physician or mental health provider, to ensure you get the best care.
